Our services
What we do
For over 15 years, One-Eighty has been bridging the gap between mental health and education, improving future outcomes for children and young people across Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
Our work is evidence-based and holistic. We combine specialist therapeutic and educational expertise to improve outcomes for young people across three core service areas.

One-to-One support
Tailor-made programmes to support children to re-engage with their education, delivered where the young person will engage best – at home, in school, or in the community – and typically led by a three-person case team.

Preventative mental health projects
Whole-class and group-based targeted work to build resilience, reduce the stigma around mental health and emotional wellbeing, and keep pupils connected to learning. Make Me Smile, Kick Start, Summer Projects

Training & supervision for professionals
Practical Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA) training, external supervision, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) informed clinics that strengthen school capacity and support school staff
Our approach
A therapeutic model that is trauma-informed, CBT/DBT-informed, underpinned by attachment theory, and the principles of playfulness, acceptance, curiosity, and empathy (PACE). Our approach is founded on persistent engagement and multi-agency working, with robust safeguarding practice at its core.
At One-Eighty, we use a traffic light model to illustrate how our services align with different levels of need. One-to-one support sits at the red end of the model, providing intensive, targeted intervention for young people at the highest risk or in crisis. Our preventative mental health projects sit within the yellow and green, focusing on early intervention and building resilience before difficulties escalate.
This combination of intensive support and preventative work allows us to act both as a vital safety net and as a preventative service - reducing the likelihood of young people reaching crisis in the first place.
